John W. McCuistion
Principal & Chief Executive Officer
The firm’s principal owner, John W. McCuistion is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ Practitioner and has over thirty years experience as a financial advisor and investment manager. John is also formally trained and certified as a Mediator. He has extensive experience in assisting parties in resolving disputes through alternative dispute resolution, as well as through litigation support services.
John is a graduate of North Texas State University. He has served as an adjunct faculty member for the College for Financial Planning in its teaching program for candidates aspiring to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation. John frequently lectures to groups on various financial planning and investment management related topics. John is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.
John has strong ties to the community. He served on the Board of Trustees of Baylor Medical Center at Irving from 1996 – 2005 and in the capacity of Chairman of the Board the last two years. Additionally, he has served on the Irving Healthcare Foundation Board and on other church and non-profit organization boards.

J. Kay Crofford
Principal & Chief Financial Officer
J. Kay Crofford is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ Practitioner, Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and member of the Financial Planning Association.
Kay has a broad based understanding of all aspects of personal financial planning and investments, which she gained through over 25 years of experience with the firm. As a Senior Principal, Kay is responsible for meeting with clients, researching client issues, preparing financial plans and updates. She is in charge of client data management and information reporting in all areas in which JMA serves its clients. Additionally, as CFO, she is responsible for all facets of financial management of the firm.

Janis A. McCuistion
Vice-President
Janis A. McCuistion, Administrative Coordinator, is a graduate of North Texas State University and has been with JMA since 1983. Jan provides general and administrative services and is in charge of various project management areas of the firm.

Carly A. Abel
Operations and Compliance Manager
Carly A. Abel is a Registered ParaplannerSM and graduate of Dallas Baptist University. Carly provides Paraplanner support to the firm and coordinates client relations. Carly joined the firm in 2008.
